More than a century of service
The Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® was established in 1918 and has spent more than a century representing the real estate industry in the Greater Fort Worth area. With more than 3,700 REALTOR® and affiliate members, GFWAR is a strong advocate for both real estate professionals and Texas property owners.
One of Fort Worth’s oldest professional associations
In 1918, Fort Worth still held the imagination of America as a fabled town on the Chisholm Trail, with stories of rowdy outlaws and gunfighters who entertained themselves in Hells Half Acre. In June of 1918, a group of Fort Worth Real Estate Professionals came together to form the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors.
As the nation's largest trade association, NAR is "The Voice for Real Estate," working on behalf of America's property owners and representing over one million members involved in all aspects of the real estate industry. www.nar.realtor
