Director of Advocacy and Community Affairs
The Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® (GFWAR) is seeking a Director of Advocacy and Community Affairs. Founded in 1918, GFWAR is a professional trade association with a membership of over 4,300 REALTOR® and affiliate members. This position is responsible for the legislative, political, and community affairs of the association, and will serve as the liaison between the association, elected officials, and community leaders. Additional responsibilities include working with our REALTOR® member committees to achieve association goals, working with our Society of Commercial REALTORS® group, and managing the association’s leadership program.
The ideal candidate will have superior written and oral communication skills with a penchant for precision, and the ability to respectfully represent our association to both our member constituency and the public. Some travel is required. Association management, political fundraising and event planning, community affairs and/or legislative experience is preferred. Compensation commensurate with experience.
