And the Survey Says...Charity Begins at Home!
Saturday, March 27 • Place: to be determined

GFWAR will be hosting its Community Service Day on Saturday, March 27 for a day of volunteer efforts in service to the Fort Worth community. GFWAR sought input from the membership on types of service projects in which members would most be willing to participate and support. Overwhelmingly, the survey response was that our members would first like to take care of our own members who may have a need or have suffered a serious family setback.

GFWAR is Looking for a Few Deserving REALTORS®
GFWAR is on the lookout for a few deserving REALTOR® families who may be in need of help, specifically with light-to-medium yard clean-up around their home. If you (or someone you know) has not been physically or financially capable of caring for a property and would appreciate a helping hand from a group of fellow REALTORS®, GFWAR would like to know. Please contact GFWAR CEO Sherry Matina at
817-336-5165, ext. 108, or s.matina@gfwar.org. Your information will be kept strictly confidential. We will be able to choose two to three projects for our work day on March 27, and you will be notified approximately one week in advance if you are selected.

Interested in Volunteering?
GFWAR is looking to send small crews of volunteers to the houses that are selected for this project. No experience is necessary for those who volunteer, and GFWAR is currently recruiting volunteers! Two shifts have been set up – 9 a.m. to Noon and Noon to 3 p.m. Lunch and cold drinks will be provided to all volunteers, and volunteers will be provided with a list of instructions prior to the event. If interested in serving on March 27, please contact Rebekah LaMontagne with GFWAR at 817-336-5165, ext. 112, or rebekah@gfwar.org
