Quick Start
June 2-6; 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; GFWAR Auditorium

Cost: $199 for TAR members by May 23 and $225 thereafter
Worth 30 hours of SAE credit & nine hours of MCE credit

Quick Start is the quality college for the new agent and is designed to help him or her get a jump start into the real estate business by teaching core processes right from the start. The program is designed for agents with one to twelve months of real estate experience and is worth 30 hours of SAE credit and nine hours of MCE credit. The instructors include Betty Dickens, Helen Collins-Epps and Dan Odom.

The course is made up of four modules including:
Success 101 – covers professionalism and ethics, prospecting, buyer and seller services, etc.
Business 101 – covers safety, the business plan, finances, branding, and the agent’s federal tax responsibilities.
Best Practices 101 – covers agency, contract basics, risk management and daily systems.
Technology 101 – covers dealing with ZipForm, MLS basics, marketing tools and client communications.

14th Annual GFWAR Golf Classic
June 9; Diamond Oaks Country Club (5821 Diamond Oaks Drive in Fort Worth)

Registration / lunch: 10 a.m.; Shotgun Start: Noon; Dinner: 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $125 per person, benefiting TREPAC

Tee off with GFWAR on Monday, June 9 at Diamond Oaks Country Club. Players receive green and cart fees, lunch, dinner, awards, prizes and a goodie bag. The cost is $125 per player, which goes directly to TREPAC and will contribute to individual pledges.

GFWAR Birthday Bash - Celebrating 90 Years of

It’s a milestone for GFWAR this year. The Association turns 90 years old. Some might say that’s old, but GFWAR looks at it as an accomplishment that calls for a celebration! Join GFWAR leadership and staff on June 11 for a Birthday Bash, complete with a band, wine, beer, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, a Birthday cake and all the trimmings. For those who have not been by the Association building recently, it is undergoing a face-lift. Remodeling of the interior of the building is underway and is estimated to be finished by June 11.So, don’t miss the debut of the new and improved office building while celebrating 90 years of Fort Worth real estate. The event is free to all attendees and registration is not required.
