Society of Commercial Realtors

As a trade association, GFWAR is composed of a variety of committees that make decisions and determine courses of action that enhance the Association. This gives members a voice in determining the direction they want the Association to take on issues of importance and creates a check-and-balance system.

All committee decisions go to the Executive Committee for approval and then move to the Board of Directors. Once the Board of Directors has approved a recommendation, it is put into action by GFWAR.

For most committees, members can join on a voluntary basis, but there are several committees in which members must be appointed. Committee selection usually occurs at the end of every year for the proceeding year.
