Volunteer with GFWAR at the TRWD Trash Bash

Sign up and serve at the Trash Bash! Help GFWAR clean up the beautiful banks of the Trinity River, right outside our front doors. GFWAR's Community Outreach Committee is participating in the TRWD Trash Bash, a one-day community clean up event of our area waterways on Saturday, April 20. All are welcome! Please RSVP so we know how many to expect.

What you need to know:

• All ages welcome (as long as they can safely walk the banks and help pick up trash).
• Trash pick-up time is from 8 - 10 am. Meet us at the GFWAR offices a little on the early side and enjoy some breakfast snacks and coffee.
• Bring sturdy gloves, a hat, sunscreen, and a trash grabber if you’ve got one. Wear closed toe shoes.
• Wear your GFWAR Fair Housing t-shirt. If you don’t have one, visit the REALTOR® Store to buy one for $10.
• FREE Trash Bash event t-shirts will be available for participants, while supplies last.
• After the pick-up time is done, join us at TRWD’s after party from 10 am – 1 pm. GFWAR will have a table.
• If you plan to participate, please RSVP via the form with the total number in your party. If you decide to join us at the last minute, that’s okay too!
