SCR membership is open
to anyone who spends a substantial amount of time engaged
in sales, leases, exchanges, appraisals, management,
consultations or other professional activities related to
commercial or investment properties. In addition, SCR
welcomes affiliate and SCR friend memberships.
SCR REALTOR® Membership
All commercial real estate practitioners interested
in becoming members of SCR, must have brokers who are
members of GFWAR. If this has occurred, they can apply
for SCR membership but must first become a member of GFWAR. For more information about becoming

Become
a REALTOR® Member
After becoming a GFWAR member, SCR requires that an
application of membership be submitted for approval
by the SCR Board of Governors. Applicants should fill
out an SCR application and submit it to GFWAR with $65
(in the form of cash, check, VISA, MasterCard,
American Express or a money
order) for payment of SCR dues. Click the button below

Once the SCR Board of Governors has approved an applicant
for membership, a member of the Board will contact the
new member with the news.
SCR Affiliate Membership
This
membership is available for those who want to reach both
the commercial and residential markets, because all SCR
affiliate members must be affiliate members of GFWAR as well. The exposure obtained from an affiliate
membership in both these organizations is priceless.
Not only does GFWAR offer a wide range of exposure,
networking opportunities and benefits, but SCR provides
a variety of marketing opportunities and exposure as
well.
GFWAR Affiliate Member Benefits
An SCR affiliate membership offers:
- Exposure
– SCR affiliate members are acknowledged in the
monthly SCR
e-mail update, and SCR allows
affiliates to place newsworthy information in
these e-mail updates. In addition, GFWAR will promote SCR affiliate
news in its weekly e-mail
updates. GFWAR staff members
must be notified about
time-sensitive information
at least two weeks before it should be published.
- Networking – SCR breakfasts
and events provide fantastic networking opportunities
and give affiliate members a firsthand chance to have one-on-one
contact with commercial REALTORS® in
the area. Since the real estate business is about
relationship-building, SCR understands the importance
of creating and maintaining solid relationships between
SCR affiliates and SCR REALTOR® members.
- Membership Directory – All
affiliate members receive access to the online SCR and GFWAR member directories, which lists all
GFWAR / SCR members' contact information. These directories
allow affiliates
to send direct mail pieces to all GFWAR members or
just SCR members.
- SCR
Member-to-Member E-mails – All SCR affiliate
members have access to the Members Only portion of the
SCR Web site located at
www.scr-fw.org and can send e-mails to
all SCR members with a click of a button by logging-in
to this portion of the SCR Web site.
- Cost Break –
SCR affiliate
members receive
cost breaks on breakfasts, events and REALTOR®
store merchandise as well as on newsletter advertising.
To become an affiliate member of SCR, an applicant
must be an affiliate member of GFWAR and in good standing.
The cost for an SCR affiliate membership is $85, which
is added to the fee for GFWAR affiliate dues.

but SCR Friends do not receive the exposure opportunities

This is because an SCR Friend is only a member of SCR

entire GFWAR organization? An SCR Friend membership
may be just the ticket.
SCR Friends receive the following benefits:
